A Bear's Life

While I'm sure everyone feared this post would feature a day in the life of my dog, Bear, it is actually a Spring house-warming gift, to our friends coming down the mountains soon, berries on the brain.

I think I mentioned to you recently that I was feeling the urge to cleanse (nutritionally-speaking). But I left this sentiment in a comments section on your blog.  Does that count as real communication in the modern age?

Rest assured, the cleansing urge was swiftly followed by an urge to tackle full sleeves of Saltine crackers in one day.  Either way, my point remains the same: I come to party.  And by party I mean, sit on the banks of rivers, lakes, and town activities.

Sending love!
Kara

P.S. Images are from this book (by one of the authors who inspired exactly one half of this blog's name)

Hi Kara!
I love these images SO much. In the last one, I imagine the conversation looks something like this:

Man: Well, I guess I'm off. I've got to get to the store before it closes.
Bear: Yeah? OK. Well, hey, good to see you. And take it easy.
Man: What are you up to for the rest of the day?
Bear: Oh, I'm prolly just gonna sit here for a little while longer.

I also love the Saltines' sleeve image you provided. I think if there were a single food that was the antithesis of a cleanse, it would be the humble Saltine.

Much much love right back at you!
