About

This is a quote Amelia loves, by Donald Barthelme:
"The story ends. It was written for several reasons. Nine of them are secrets. The tenth is that one should never cease considering human love, which remains as grisly and golden as ever, no matter what is tattoed upon the warm tympanic page."

This is a book that Kara loves, about living with bears to repair the misconceptions humans have about these gentle, playful creatures.

The Joke: Grizzly & Golden is a place to share things we find pretty cool. Instead of sharing these things with each other only, we thought we'd do it on the Internet because we are super generous. You're welcome!

The Truth: Grizzly & Golden is an effort to expand our understanding and compassion for ourselves and the people we love.

The Bottom Line: Thank you for visiting!
